Classical Design By Linda Floyd
I am delighted to showcase the portfolio of Carmel/Pebble Beach and San Francisco Bay area designer, Linda Floyd of Linda L. Floyd, Inc. Her inspiration is 18th and 19th Century France and elegant English countryside homes. I love her use of sumptuous fabrics, trims, dressmaker details, antiques, custom woodworking, excellent craftsmanship and artistic features.
This beautiful living room has it all, wall panels in a fabulous finish, perfectly proportioned artwork over a lovely fireplace, comfortable seating in gorgeous fabrics.
Linda’s firm designs the architectural interiors, the construction detailing and custom woodworking, creating beautiful spaces to then embellish with the perfect choice of furnishings.
The etched glass detailing is so beautiful.
A look at the whole room.
Her timeless and sophisticated interiors are a perfect balance of new and old, color and texture, comfort and style.
Her choice of fabric, trims, carpet and window treatments add to her already fabulous interiors.
Linda’s background includes being a partner in a French antiques and interior design studio in Los Gatos, California. Even though she no longer has a store front her frequent buying trips to France give her the skill of finding the “perfect” piece for her projects. Like this antique French shelving.
Antique Light Post from Nice
I particularly love the artistic elements in her projects, like these verre eglomise door panels.
And the use of etched glass.
Linda’s firm works closely with architects, contractors, lighting designers and landscape architects to achieve her client’s design goals. Her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Kitchen and Bath Design, HGTV and other major publications. Please visit Linda’s website to see her complete portfolio and follow her on pinterest.
