With the arrival of a Royal baby boy today, English Home is one of my favorite English resources for gorgeous fabrics, pillows, window panels and more. Their exquisite period materials and collections have appeared in many television and film productions, including two of my absolute favorites, Downton Abbey and The Tudors.
All of their designs are created in London. They have their own factory, which allows them flexibility to change the base fabric from velvet to linen. Their brilliant embroiderers skillfully interpret designs maintaining design integrity and quality.
Some film credits: Moulin Rouge (which won an Oscar for Best Set Design), Gladiator, Girl with a Pearl Earring, Notting Hill, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, The Other Boleyn Girl, Robin Hood, Melinda and Melinda, Around the World in 80 Days, Henry VIII, To Kill a King, The Golden Bowl, Bad Company and most recently Burlesque Undressed.
Recent television credits include: The Turn of the Screw, Emma, The Tudors and Downton Abbey.
