Classical Minimalist is my term for a classically designed space (walls, ceiling, windows, Doors, fireplaces) which are then decorated with today’s great products and furnishings. There is a particular sensibility that desires a fresh feeling to the classically designed space. What better way to get that feeling of today than to include lots of the beauty that is made and sold today. This London mansion has plenty of seating along with very selective accessories. The chandeliers are a great choice with the artwork. The finish on the sideboards works quite well with the fabulous marble fireplace.
Classical Minimalist Great Room
Definitely a Classical Minimalist.
Then there is the Classical Minimalist that builds or remodels a home today and adds some beautiful classical features. A large crown molding and doric columns are terrific in this classical minimalist space. The color palette is fresh, casual and elegant. Wonderful rich fabrics and inviting upholstery.
Very effective use of classical embellishment
Love the addition of the reclaimed header and antique candle chandelier.
What do you think of this one? Lots of personality.
